Abdo Feghali Takes on Drifting Greats at Red Bull Drift Shifters 2018

Abdo Feghali is set to compete in Red Bull Drift Shifters 2018. The event is the brainchild of drifting legend Mad Mike Whiddett. Mad Mike will also be part of the competition that is taking place on August 19 in Liverpool, England.

What Is Red Bull Drift Shifters?

Take the world’s best drifters, put them on a custom track on the streets of a major city and rig it with high tech speed and proximity sensors, then have them show their skill, speed, and precision as they manoeuvre their way around the features. There you have it, Red Bull Drift Shifters in a nutshell.

Where Did The Idea Come From?

Mad Mike came up with the event to remove the uncertainty around judges’ decisions in drifting, Red Bull Drift Shifters first hit the streets of Auckland in Mad Mike’s native New Zealand back in 2012. Now, it’s going international, arriving on the UK’s shores – and the iconic dockside city of Liverpool – for the first time in 2018.

When Exactly Is The Event?
