Abdo Feghali and MotorTune Dominated Deir El Qamar hill climb yet again. This package has proven that it can always deliver even when the pressure is at the utmost. Abdo himself previously said to ww.biser3a.com that new challenges will make him find more in himself and drive to go faster. After the race we met Abdo and had this small chat.

It’s the 2nd hill climb of the season and the 2nd win, what’s the difference between this race and the previous one?

This time around we took things more seriously. Ziad Feghali my cousin is a big champion in Hill Climb and he used to race before I started racing in Hill Climbs. Last event he had a great result although he didn’t practice on his car.in Falougha he was down 3 seconds, but we worked on the car more this time with Roger and we prepared better so raised the difference to 4 seconds at the end of the race. I guess this is considered one of the best times we drive this car. This prove s that we are on the right track.

You have been driving this car for a long time now, but are the bits and pieces that are updated in the car to keep giving you this edge?

There are no updates, as you know Ziad has an Evo 7 with an Evo 10 engine and I can install an Evo 9 engine on my car or even an Evo 10 engine. We thought that it’s not necessary and the car is still delivering. It will cost a lot to change. Anyway if we needed the addition of 30 or 40 horse power we will add them for next year.

Michel Feghali my cousin did another tremendous job on the BMW. It is an honor to see him succeed like this. We have grownup together and to see him win in this fashion, it’s amazing. We all know how his car compares to the rivals but he still did a great job because he prepared himself and the car very well. All this promises us with a very tight and championship clincher in the last round.

At the famous so called “Graveyard turn”, we saw that you were not jumping although your competitors were doing so. How much did your different racing ling give you more seconds?

Well it’s a matter of choice. Every driver drives differently and I had another choice. We had different mapping on the car too, in addition to the fact that there was no grip on the turn so I had a wider line in order to concentrate on the chicane that follows.
