June 30, 2015 – Lebanese rally champion Abdo Feghali will switch from a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X to a Ford Fiesta RRC for the third round of the 2015 Lebanese Rally Championship, the 24th Cedars’ Rally.
In last year’s edition of the Cedars’ Rally, Abdo drove his Lancer Evo X to second place overall and first in Group N, but it looks like the champion is adamant to fight for the overall win this weekend with this latest upgrade, alongside co-driver Marc Haddad.
The 24th Cedars’ Rally will kick off from the Cedrus Hotel in Bcharre at 7:30 AM on Sunday, July 5, with team and drivers set to tackle 12 special stages that will cover almost 97 kilometers of the rally’s 346-kilometer total distance.
It is worth mentioning that Abdo’s last appearance in an RRC car was during the 2013 Rally of Lebanon when he drove a MINI Countryman JCW and finished 3rd overall.
