Abdulaziz Al Faisal heads Saudi dominance in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East

Red Bull Athlete Abdulaziz Al Faisal and the Saudi Falcons were able to clinch the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East championship last Friday in what was the first race of the kind on the famous Losail MotoGP circuit in Qatar. Abdulaziz Al Faisal came to race with a commanding championship lead and had one target only, the win. Al Faisal clinched the win in the first race of the night which was round 9 and went on to take second place in the second race which was round 10. Clemens Schmid from Austria was Al Faisal’s only threat through the weekend where both drivers shared race wins. Red Bull Car Park Drift 2011 champion another Saudi Falcon driver was able to finish both races in 4th place and held 3rd place in the overall championship classification while Bendar Alesayi from the KSA GT Racing team remained 2nd overall in the championship.

Saddon Al Kuwari from Qatar driving for the Gerbhard Motor Sport ME team finished the championship sixth and won the Michelin Silver Trophy, while Hannes Waimer finished the Mobil 1 trophy in first place.
