August 30, 2016 – Qatar’s Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari has confirmed on his personal Facebook and Instagram accounts that he will not be taking the start of the 39th Rally of Lebanon this week.
Al-Kuwari, who was looking to finish on the podium in his Skoda Fabia R5, said that the withdrawal was not his decision and that he will reveal more details soon. He also apologized to his fans and friends in Lebanon.
Al-Kuwari’s withdrawal and Roger Feghali’s switch to an Evo X R4 brings down the total number of R5 cars from six to four.
