Abdullah and Essa Al-Dossari ready for Round 2 in Bahrain’s Rotax Max Challenge

Following his participation in the IAME X30’s Round 2 two weeks back, Abdullah Al-Dossari is gearing up for the Round 2 of Rotax Max Max Challenge in 2018/19 Bahrain Karting Sprint Championship KSC season to take place on Friday, November 9.

Abudullah will continue racing for ED Racing Team with his father and rally driver, Essa accompanying him to Bahrain for this weekend’s round held at Bahrain International Karting Circuit which is the premises of the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir which hosts Formula 1’s Bahrain Grand Prix event.

Abdullah will compete in the Junior category with Essa also in action in the Masters class. The duo performed well in Round 1 in October, where Abdullah finished his race in fifth place and his father in second place in their respective classes.

We are ready for Round 2 action this weekend in Bahrain,” says Essa. “Our sole aim will be to win or finish on the podium so as to give us a chance to fight for the title by the end of the season in our respective categories.”

The Round 2 will start on Friday at 1:00 PM and finish by 5:00 PM. The 2018/19 season started back in October and will conclude in April. 

Saudi Arabia’s ED Racing Team is looking to strengthening its position in the Arabian motorsport scene by competing in various categories. The team’s drivers competed in the Desert Rally with Essa Al-Dossari, and won Hail International Rally and Jordan Baja, as well as participation in Karting Championships in Bahrain and UAE, and in Drag races.
