Ahmad Alamri Crowned King of Drift in Oman

Ahmad Alamri has been crowned the King of Drift at the Red Bull Car Park Drift 2023/2024 World Final held at Muscat Drift Arena, Oman. After over a year of intense competition, Alamri emerged victorious in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans, marking the culmination of a thrilling series.

This year’s event at the Oman Automobile Association (OAA) saw a record 26 drifters from 17 countries, the largest entry list in the event’s 16-year history. Competitors hailed from nations such as Georgia, South Africa, Estonia, Bulgaria, Mauritius, Azerbaijan, as well as across the Middle East, including Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Palestine, and Iraq. The fierce global competition highlighted how even the smallest mistake could make the difference between victory and defeat.

Alamri made his mark early, posting the highest scores in the opening round, but it was his flawless performance in the Final 4 that secured his victory. With a near-perfect score, he outperformed his fellow competitors, including fellow Omani drifter Hathaim Al Hadidi and Hisham Al Khatib, to take the top spot.

The electric energy from the crowd was palpable, adding to the excitement as Oman hosted the World Final once again at the iconic Muscat Drift Arena, known as the heart of motorsports in the Sultanate of Oman.
