December 9, 2016 – Ahmad Daham became an official Red Bull athlete, the driver announced today via his official Facebook page and during the Red Bull Car Park Drift Finals 2016 in Oman.
Daham is one of the top drifters in the region as he earned the prestigious King of Drift title in 2014 and 2015 on a Nissan Silvia. However, he couldn’t defend his title in 2016 because his car failed to arrive on time for the UAE national qualifiers.
Daham is from Jordan and he drifted under the Jordanian nationality prior to 2015 when he began representing the UAE. Despite not being able to compete in the 2016 Finals today, he was still present to please the crowd with a dazzling show.
It is worth mentioning that the 2016 edition of the Red Bull Car Park Drift Finals was won by Haitham Al Hadidy from Oman.
