November 20, 2015 – Jordanian drifter Ahmad Daham clinched the 2015 Red Bull Car Park Drift title in front of thousands of spectators in Dubai this evening – and thus defended his 2014 title – after an outstanding performance onboard his Nissan Silvia.
Daham produced a flawless drive in his third and final attempt, beating his three main rivals Fadi Boustany, Ali Al Baloushi and Ra’fat Haroun – all of whom qualified to the final round after great displays on an extremely challenging track that proved quite difficult for some of the 17 drifters.
Ali Al Baloushi from Oman finished runner-up in his Nissan SX, while Jordan’s Ra’fat Haroun (Toyota GT86) and Lebanon’s Fadi Boustany (BMW E46) settled for third and fourth place respectively. Unfortunately, Boustany couldn’t complete a third and final run due to a mechanical failure.
Lebanon’s Fouad Mexacy didn’t make it into the top 8 as a steering issue in the BMW E46 he was driving made him crash early on in his first attempt.
