Airplane lands on busy Californian highway

September 27, 2015 – In a scene that looks straight out of a Grand Theft Auto video game, an airplane recently landed on a busy highway in California after one of its engines failed.

An instructor and a student were onboard the Piper Cherokee airplane when the engine stopped during a touch-and-go landing exercise, forcing them to make an emergency landing on the nearest open space, which was the highway.

Fortunately, they were safely able to land the airplane without causing chaos, and the whole incident was caught on camera.
