Red Bull, will announce that Nasser Al Attiyah, Carlos Sainz and Thierry Magnaldi will race in the 2013 Dakar within the same team with three cars built in California. The vehicles will be built at Jefferies Racing LLC, in Apple Valley, California. Nasser and co will driving buggies, US V8 powered 2WDrives.
Magnaldi will foremost work as test-pilot to evaluate the vehicles.
We all know who Carlos Sainz and Nasser Al Attiyah but Thierry Magnaldi is also a respectable name in desert rallies. Thierry finished the 2012 Dakar on Dessoud´s Buggy in 15th position.
These are fresh rumours from the motorsport world and the news havent been confirmed yet.
The most interesting aspect of the whole story is imaging both Al Attiyah battling it again head to head within a team built by Al Attiyah himself.
