Nasser Al-Attiyah is closing in on the Kuwait International Rally victory having extended his lead to a substantial 1 minute and 24 seconds on the final day’s first loop.
Al-Attiyah has dominated all of the stages so far, while the battle for second place continued between Khalid Al-Qassimi and Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari; the duo are 8 seconds apart in second- and third-place respectively.
Yazeed Al-Rajhi remains a distant fourth, followed by Abdulla Al-Qassimi in fifth, with now three special stages left before the end of the rally.
