September 17, 2015 – Alfa Romeo is sure making a firecracker of a comeback as it announced at the Frankfurt Motor Show that its all-new Giulia QV managed to lap the Nurburgring in 7 minutes 39 seconds.

The impressive laptime makes the Italian sports sedan 13 seconds faster than the BMW M4, and 1 second faster than supercars like the Lamborghini Murcielago, Porsche 911 GT3 (997) and McLaren Mercedes SLR.

The new Giulia QV is powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged V6, developed by Ferrari, that produces 510 hp, which is 85 more than the M4. The Giulia QV also weighs 1525 kilograms, which is almost 47 kg lighter than the M4, so you can see why it’s so much faster.
