Alfa Romeo, Italy’s famous premium automaker, will be introducing a total of nine new models by the year 2016, according to a report by Italian website autoedizione.com.
The news has been discussed by Fiat’s Board of Directors of during a conference in London this week.
Alfa’s nine models will range from the B-segment (Volkswagen Polo) to the luxurious E-segment (Mercedes-Benz S-Class), with a total sales target of 300,000 unit per year following their launch.
Some of these models include the all-new Giulia, which is set to compete against the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and others in that segment, in addition to several crossover/SUVs, the 4C sports car and the confirmed roadster, which is currently being developed in collaboration with Mazda.
