April 24, 2015 – T. Gargour & Fils, the exclusive importer of Mercedes-Benz cars in Lebanon, has revealed the all-new Mercedes AMG GT for the first time in the country during a special launch ceremony yesterday in the Mercedes-Benz showroom in Dora.
Invitees, including customers and media personnel, got a first-hand experience of the gorgeous new AMG GT sports car with the three different-colored models – Iridium Silver, Diamond White and Selenite Grey – that were on display.
The GT is the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. Its front mid-engine concept with transaxle and the intelligent aluminium lightweight construction form the basis for a dynamic driving experience.
Its newly developed AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine underscores the hallmark AMG driving performance. The first sports car engine with internally mounted turbochargers and dry sump lubrication is configured in two output ratings: as a GT with 462 hp and as a GT S with 510 hp.
The new GT combines driving dynamics and racetrack performance with superb everyday practicality, and efficiency that sets new standards in the sports car segment.
