Aston Martin is the world’s first automaker to debut Apple CarPlay Ultra, offering iPhone users a fully integrated and customizable in-car experience. Launching in the U.S. and Canada, CarPlay Ultra is now standard on new DBX, DB12, Vantage, and Vanquish models and will roll out to existing vehicles via an update.
Built in partnership with Apple, CarPlay Ultra brings real-time data across both the infotainment screen and instrument cluster. It seamlessly blends Apple’s interface with Aston Martin’s luxury design, delivering a cohesive, driver-friendly dashboard with personalized themes, wallpapers, and widgets.
Drivers can customize the digital cluster layout, use full-screen navigation, and control climate and media via touchscreen, buttons, or Siri. The system also integrates Apple-powered widgets, including weather, calendar, and reminders, into Aston Martin’s 10.25” Pure Black display.
Aston Martin’s next-gen infotainment system—first launched with the DB12—was developed entirely in-house. This state-of-the-art platform allows deep CarPlay Ultra integration, combining Apple’s functionality with Aston Martin’s luxury craftsmanship and performance DNA.
CEO Adrian Hallmark calls the launch “a milestone in innovation,” reinforcing Aston Martin’s commitment to delivering connected, premium driving experiences. Apple’s VP Bob Borchers adds that CarPlay Ultra redefines how users interact with their iPhones in the car—safely and intelligently.
CarPlay Ultra supports iPhone 12 or newer running iOS 18.54+. Global availability is expected within 12 months, further cementing Aston Martin’s role as a leader in luxury automotive technology.
