It is no longer a secret that Audi wants to take over the premium car manufacturer thrown, with the German company recently announcing its plan to invest 13 billion euros.
The investment includes development of an array of new models to battle BMW and Mercedes-Benz; around 10.5 billion euros have been dedicated for development, while the remaining amount has been allocated to the company’s plants in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm.
In addition to expanding its factories in China and Hungary, Audi will also be devoting a lot of resources to develop more efficient engines, improve electric mobility and develop lightweight manufacturing techniques,.
