September 7, 2017 – The Audi TT RS and Nissan GT-R are extremely capable sports cars that fall under completely different categories, with the Audi being the smaller and less powerful model. However, that didn’t stop Top Gear from featuring the two in a drag race.
The TT RS uses a five-cylinder turbocharged engine to produce 400 hp and 480 Nm of torque, and it can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.6 seconds thanks to all-wheel drive and a fast dual-clutch transmission.
The GT-R is also driven by its four wheels and has a very quick dual-clutch transmission, but the similarities with the Audi end there. With a turbocharged V6 under the hood, the Nissan makes 570 horsepower and 633 Nm of torque, but it’s also 310 kilograms heavier than the German car.
Will the Nissan have it easy? Find out in the video.
