Audi A6 Sedan Returns as Sleek, Efficient Icon
Audi’s latest A6 saloon blends timeless design with cutting-edge aerodynamics, earning the title of the most aerodynamic internal combustion Audi ever. With a drag coefficient of just 0.23, this refined four-door promises greater fuel efficiency, less wind noise, and a smooth, serene ride—without turning into yet another SUV.
Inspired by the recently revealed A6 Avant, this sedan showcases updated air curtains, redesigned front intakes, underbody enhancements, and a new rear notchback for optimized airflow. Powertrain options include a 2.0L turbo petrol (201bhp), a 2.0L diesel (also 201bhp, available with FWD or quattro), and a potent 3.0L V6 turbo with 362bhp and quattro AWD.
Mild-hybrid tech is standard on the diesel and V6 engines, featuring 48V electrics, regenerative braking, and coasting capability via a 1.7kWh lithium-ion battery. The result? A blend of performance and efficiency. The V6 model hits 0–62mph in just 4.7 seconds, while the four-cylinder versions manage it in just over or under eight seconds.
Inside, comfort reigns with improved sound insulation, acoustic glass, and three suspension options—standard, sport, or adaptive air. Audi’s advanced brake-by-wire system (iBRS) also debuts, maintaining natural brake feel while boosting control.
Technology takes center stage with a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, 11.9-inch driver display, and an optional passenger screen. Add in Bang & Olufsen sound, premium materials, ambient lighting, and it’s clear—this is a modern classic redefined for today.
