March 2, 2017 – The first Formula 1 pre-season test concluded today with Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen topping the times as teams tried out the Pirelli wet weather tyres.
Raikkonen clocked 1m20.872s on the yellow soft tyres in the afternoon session, beating Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to the top of the leaderboard by 0.9 seconds.
The Ferrari-powered Haas racked up the most kilometers today as it lapped the Spanish circuit 118 times in the hands of Frenchman Romain Grosjean, while the Ferrari ranked 2nd with 93 laps.
