March 12, 2016 – Lebanese rally driver Bassel Abu Hamdan is upgrading to a Citroen DS3 R3-MAX, the first in Lebanon and the Middle East, for the 2016 Lebanese Rally Championship.
The DS3 R3-MAX is an evolution of the DS3 R3, which Abu Hamdan drove in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, winning the 2014 Rally of Lebanon, 2015 Spring Rally, in addition to finishing 2nd in class in the 2014 Jezzine Rally.
Abu Hamdan is one of the top drivers in the front-wheel drive class and will be aiming to fight for wins and secure the FWD championship title with support from sponsors Ayyadi Group by Walid Ghannam, Nahed Group & Cordoba Restaurant by Hicham Nahed, as well as ACT.
