It looks like Abdo Feghali’s World’s Longest Drift record, which was set back in February on a Chevy Camaro SS, has been short-lived thanks to BMW and Johan Schwartz’s latest attempt.
Schwartz managed to continuously drift for a whopping 82.506 kilometers – compared to Feghali’s 11.180 kilometers – in an unmodified 2013 BMW M5 Sedan; the record was completed at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina, USA.
No video is available of the record-breaking drift attempt as of yet, but BMW released a teaser video earlier this year.
