Spy photographers have recently snagged images of BMW’s new M235i with almost no camouflage; the small Coupe was posing for the cameras for some official press photos.
The M235i, which heads the 2 Series lineup, looks very different to the rather unpleasant-looking 1 Series hatchback, but the overall shape of the Coupe is carried on from the previous generation 1 Series Coupe.
Power will most likely be provided by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 320 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, already found on the M135i. It should help the Coupe accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.9 seconds.
The new 2 Series is expected to go on sale starting late 2013.
