May 16, 2016 – In case you did not know, BMW and Toyota are jointly working on a new sports car that will replace the BMW Z4 and re-introduce the Toyota Supra.
The upcoming 2018 BMW Z5 was spotted testing earlier this year, and it is scheduled to make its first public appearance in the first half of 2017, while the Toyota is expected to follow at a later date.
The two sports cars will share the same platform, and will be built in Austria by Magna Steyr, according to Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung. However, there is no word on what could be powering the two cars.
