Bridgestone has announced that its Weather Control A005 tyre is now available nationwide in Lebanon. Key stakeholders within the Lebanese automotive community were able to get a glimpse of the all new tyre and its spectacular features at an event hosted by Bridgestone and Ahmad El Sawi Zantout Establishments, the exclusive distributor of Bridgestone in Lebanon.
“The Weather Control A005 is designed to keep you going no matter what. It offers excellent control in all road conditions, be it either on the highway or in the city in any weather.” said Berna Akinci, Head of Marketing at Bridgestone Middle East and Africa. “In order to make this tyre a reality, Bridgestone conducted extensive research on the needs and expectations of drivers. The research revealed that in addition to requiring tyres that are capable of handling different kinds of weather conditions, safety in wet conditions was a top priority. As a result, the Weather Control A005 tyre was developed with industry leading technology which will meet drivers’ safety and control needs in all weather conditions”.
The tyre is also engineered to provide outstanding wet and excellent responsiveness in wintery conditions. The high silica tread compound features Bridgestone’s “Nano Pro-Tech” technology, which works in the compound at a molecular level to strengthen the bond between the silica and rubber, guaranteeing exceptional grip, wear and fuel efficiency. “We’ve had a long and successful partnership with Bridgestone of over 50 years, and we’re thrilled to be able to introduce the Bridgestone Weather Control A005 tyre to our customers in Lebanon,” said Mr. Mazen Zantout, Vice President – Ahmad El-Sawi Zantout Ests.
