August 18, 2015 – In a rather weird experiment, the guys at “EverythingApplePro” decided to switch a 996-generation Porsche 911 Carrera’s brake pads for iPhones, in order to answer a question no one has ever asked before: is it possible to stop a moving vehicle using iPhones?
The experiment is carried out at different speeds, including 32 km/h, 64 km/h and 100 km/h. The result? iPhones aren’t great at stopping a vehicle, and they won’t be usable after doing so because they will melt and catch fire.
