The cars belong to Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, vice president of Equatorial Guinea, who had been trying to smuggle the cars out of Switzerland in advance of a recently reopened corruption investigation against him by Swiss authorities.

The confiscated collection includes a Koenigsegg One:1, Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari F12tdf, Ferrari Enzo, LaFerrari, Ferrari 599 GTB, Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and Aston Martin One-77.
