Castrol Arabia Motortune Racing Academy’s drivers ready for an exciting 2019 season

Motortune Racing has been producing champions for years, but the team has also been recently catering for young champions in the making. We’re talking about Castol Arabia Motortune Racing Academy’s young drivers, namely Patrick Njeim, Christopher Njeim, and last but not least the newest coming driver Alex Feghali.

The two young drivers “The Njeim Brothers” have had an exceptional season in 2018 and have concluded last year with at least one championship title in the bag.

The youngest in Motortune Racing Academy’s line-up is Lebanese karting champion Christopher Njeim (19 years old), who contested his first ever Lebanese Rally & Hill Climb Championships season last year. Christopher showed impressive pace all through the year and piled up the kilometers by crossing the finish line in all rallies and hill climbs.

Although Christopher had been alone in the R1 category, his outstanding performances in the Suzuki Swift Sport paid dividends as he claimed the R1 championship title at the end of the season.

Christopher will be contesting his second Lebanese Rally & Hill Climb Championships season this year onboard the same car!

Also a Lebanese karting champion and last year’s RC2 title winner, Patrick Njeim – Christopher’s 23-year-old brother – upgraded to a Mitsubishi Evo 9 Group N last year and was able to claim the title after claiming 3 wins out of 3 in the Hill Climb Championship but having to go through a really challenging rally season with a lot of up and downs!

Patrick will as well be conducting his second Lebanese Rally & Hill Climb Championships season this year onboard the same car starting with the 35th Spring Rally this coming Sunday!

The Njeim brothers are a treasure chest of talent and they have shown the ability to learn and improve quickly, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see them competing for front-running positions in the near future.

In addition, Castrol Arabia Motortune Racing Academy sees a new comer this year! Alex Feghali who is Roger Feghali’s Big Son. Alex has been enrolled in the Academy since its early beginning and has been competing in the Lebanese Karting Championship since then.

Until the time has come for Alex to move to bigger things; this season Alex will be contesting his first ever Lebanese Rally Championship onboard the team’s Peugeot 208 RC2 starting with the Spring Rally tomorrow.

Alex made his racing debut in the Lebanese Speed Test championship, as he completed the 1st Round two weeks ago successfully dominating his class and eventually winning the category!

Moreover, Motortune Racing Academy embraces other young drivers currently competing in the Lebanese Karting Championship and are expected to climb the motorsport ladder in a similar fashion to the older drivers.
