The 34th edition of the only tarmac rally in the middle east saw an epic battle between two of the finest teams in the region, Lebanese Roger Feghali with navigator Joseph Matar and Qatari Nasser Al Attiyah with navigator Giovanni Bernacchini. Although Al Attiyah’s Ford Fiesta S2000 had the advantage over Feghali’s Group N R4 EVO X, the Lebanese remained unbeatable in his homeland finishing 16.4 seconds ahead of Nasser. Abdo Feghali and Marc Haddad finished 3rd breaking a series of mishaps.
