Toyota GR Yaris: Enhanced Aero Package and Engine Upgrades
Toyota is elevating the GR Yaris in 2025 with a range of exciting updates. At the recent Kenshiki event, the automaker revealed the Aero Package Prototype, which aims to boost this already impressive hot hatch’s performance. Rather than focusing on top-speed increases, these upgrades are designed to enhance downforce and improve cornering abilities. A standout feature is the manually adjustable rear wing, which provides extra downforce when needed. The Yaris also sports a bulging bonnet with a deep inlet to improve cooling for the 1.6-litre turbo three-cylinder engine. Additional cooling inlets are placed around the vehicle, such as behind the front wheel arches and along the lower rear splitter, to optimize airflow.
