Audi Q5 e Hybrid SUV Extends Electric Range
The Audi Q5 e hybrid SUV arrives with enhanced electric range and refined performance. Available in both traditional SUV and stylish Sportback designs, this plug-in hybrid combines efficiency, comfort, and everyday practicality with Audi’s signature engineering. At the heart of the update is a larger 20.7 kilowatt-hour battery that allows up to 62 miles of pure electric driving. The battery now uses Audi’s new cell-to-pack design, where individual cells are bonded directly to the battery housing. This method improves power density, increases efficiency, and makes better use of space. Charging has also been upgraded. The Q5 e hybrid supports up to 11 kilowatts of alternating current through a three-phase connection, fully recharging in around two and a half hours.
