BMW Group invited the representatives of Lebanese universities for a round table to explain its vision and strategy in IT and Logistics planning. BMW Group is aiming to consolidate its relations with research communities promoting and coordinating scientific activities of research and technological transfer to industry, both basic and applicative, in several fields of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Robotics.
The cooperation with Lebanese universities will be exploited along the digitalization of new and existing business areas in BMW Group to flexibly integrate innovative IT solutions into its value chain. This generates a significant business benefit based on these technologies for the entire Company.
BMW Group teams in IT and Logistics also explained about their specific capacities, in the context of Artificial Intelligence Solutions, Internet of Things, and service/software assurance for Embedded Computing, Robotics and Big Data Analytics.
BMW Group intends to provide university partners an ideal environment to validate and orient their research to align with actual requirements of premium and large-scale manufacturing, specifically by contributing to provide real-world Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Challenges and Solutions.
