January 18, 2016 – Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo might have missed out on the Ballon d’Or this year, which went to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, but he dealt with the disappointment properly, as he recently purchased a new Porsche 911 Turbo S and showed it off on his official Instagram account.
We’re talking about the pre-facelift 2015/2016 911 Turbo S that is powered by a twin-turbo flat-six engine producing 560 horsepower, which sends the sports car from 0 to 100 km/h in a face-bending 3.1 seconds.
While it’s definitely a fantastic purchase, there’s a new 911 Turbo S available for 2016, which comes with 580 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/in 2.9 seconds, but perhaps CR7 didn’t want to wait for deliveries of the new model and made do with an older model.
