Dany Bahar files $10.6M lawsuit against Lotus

Dany Bahar, former CEO of Lotus, has filed a lawsuit against the British sports car manufacturer, claiming that Lotus and its Malaysian owners DRB, had broken the law by firing him.

40-year-old Bahar was discharged on June 7, 2012, around two weeks after being suspended for misconduct, and will now be facing his former employers in court, rather than just settling.

The source of information, according to the report by Bloomberg Businessweek, is a Kuala Lumpur stock exchange filing, which also revealed that DRB is planning to keep Lotus despite the continuous losses.
