July 8, 2016 – American sports cars are known for their straight line speed, which is why you’d think the Ford Mustang V8 has the upper hand over the BMW M2 in this drag race. However, that’s not the case.
The V8-powered Mustang GT is more powerful, with 415 horsepower compared to 365 hp for the BMW, but that’s its sole advantage as the BMW’s almost 200 kilograms lighter and comes with a lightning quick DCT transmission, whilst the Mustang is equipped with a manual transmission.
