September 4, 2017 – This drag race should be fairly predictable as the BMW M5 30 Jahre and M6 Competition Package have a clear power advantage as they both produce 600 horsepower from a twin-turbo V8.
The M4 Competition Package and M2 on the other hand generate 450 horses and 370 horses respectively, so the difference in power is quite obvious. However, let’s not forget that weight also plays an important role in drag racing.
It’s worth mentioning that the M2 is the only one that has a manual gearbox, while the other 3 feature dual-clutch transmissions.
