On paper, the F12berlinetta is both more powerful and lighter, with 740 horsepower, 690 Nm of torque and 1525 kilograms compared to the 599 GTO’s 670 horsepower, 620 Nm of torque and 1600 kilograms, but sometimes numbers don’t decide the result.
