March 2, 2015 – It’s the titanic battle we’ve all been waiting for; the almighty Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse faces the Koenigsegg Agera R in a drag race.
The Bugatti’s 8-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine produces 1200 horsepower and 1500 Nm of torque, while the twin-turbo V8 unit in the Agera R makes 1140 horsepower and 1200 Nm of torque.
However, the added luxuries in the Bugatti makes it a lot heavier than the spartan Koenigsegg – 559 kilograms heavier to be precise – as the Agera R tips the scales at 1329 kilograms, while the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse weighs 1888 kilograms.
