March 14, 2016 – If this drag race seems familiar, it’s because Motorsport Magazine organized something similar back in April 2015, with the only exception being that they used a 911 Carrera 4 GTS, whereas the 911 in this head-to-head is the rear-wheel drive 911 Carrera GTS.
What you should know: the AMG GT S delivers 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque from its twin-turbo V8, compared to 430 horsepower and 440 Nm coming from the 911 Carrera GTS’s N/A flat-six. However, the Porsche is almost 120 kilograms lighter.
