Andreas Mikkelsen has lost the lead of the Cyprus Rally after he was forced to stop to change a right-rear puncture on Saturday’s opening test, the 23.97-kilometre Koilinia test.
Mikkelsen was heading the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier by 4.4s following Friday night’s Pafos Super Special Stage but now trails new leader Nasser Al-Attiyah by 2m34.7s after his delay approximately 10 kilometres into the mixed-surface stage.
