Abdulla Al-Dossary will take part in the Bahrain Karting Sprint Championship’s Rotax Max Challenge’s Junior category in the 2018/19 season with ED Racing. The Saudi Arabia driver is seeking to win the Junior class title.

Abdullah has participated in a few rounds of 2017/18 season, finishing third in the overall standings despite not taking part in all rounds. With the experience of karting in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah is hoping for a championship-winning full season.

I am happy to compete for the full season with ED Racing in the Rotax Max Challenge in 2018/19 season,” says Abdulla. “My goal is to fight for the podiums and wins and eventually take the Junior class the title. The experience from last year should come in handy against strong competition.”

The season is expected to be competitive as more drivers join in which includes another Saudi driver, Abdulla Tareq. The season will span across seven rounds to be held at Bahrain International Karting Circuit which is part of Bahrain International Circuit complex in Sakhir – the host of Formula One’s Bahrain Grand Prix.

Essa Al-Dossary, Abdulla’s father, will also participate in the race in the senior category. His participation is intended to keep him fit and ready for the future competitions he is going to participate in.

The ED Racing team is looking to strengthen its position in the Arabian motorsport scene by participating in multiple categories. The team’s drivers competed in the Desert Rally with Essa Al-Dossary and won Hail International Rally and Jordan Baja. It also took part in Karting Championships in Bahrain and UAE along with some Drag races.

The season begins on Friday, October 5, 2018, with the finale scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2019.
