August 27, 2015 – Elias Dehni has revealed a green and orange livery on his Peugeot 206 RC, which reflects a sponsorship deal with Buffalo Wings & Rings, ahead of the 38th Rally of Lebanon.
Dehni, who revealed the new livery at Buffalo Wings & Rings in Kaslik, will be contesting his first ever rally alongside co-driver Tarek Melhem, but he’s no stranger to motorsport as he’s competed in the Lebanese Speed Test Championship this season onboard the same car and won in the RC4 class and FWD Proto class.
“This is my first rally, and it is known that Rally of Lebanon is one of the toughest rallies. My preparations were good, we fully rebuilt the car and we’re undergoing some tests this coming Saturday. However, we have a humble car and the aim is to finish the rally, especially that it is my first ever.” said Dehni.
He added: “I would like to thank Buffalo Wings & Rings, I wouldn’t be here without their support. I would also like to thank Eurol, Petrol Gas Liban, Chemaly Petroleum, Quick Quality Print and most importantly, my co-driver Tarek Melhem who’s been helping me out a lot.”
For his part, Buffalo Wings & Rings manager Elie Haddad said: “Elias is someone who reflects our brand, he’s young and he’s new in motorsport, and we’re also new in Lebanon. We’re a sports restaurant and we support everything related to sports. Our aim for Rally of Lebanon is for Elias to just start, and for his name to grow after the event, as we have big plans for the future.”
Rally of Lebanon in its 38th edition will kick off on September 4 with a super special stage in Beirut, followed by 12 stages across the weekend on September 5 and 6.
