Essa Al Dossary intent to participate in the Dakar Rally 2020 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

It is official, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s terrain will be the theatre for the Dakar Rally for ten years. A press conference was held in Al Riyadh to announce this new chapter in the rally records; the Kingdom reached an agreement with the organiser, Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO). The ED Racing Team’s rally driver Essa Al Dossary attends the conference, besides several Saudi, Arab and international drivers, who expressed their happiness for hosting the rally in Saudi Arabia for the next ten years, the Dakar Rally considered the harshest and longest desert rally in the world.

“I am very proud and happy to host the most important desert rally in Saudi Arabia,” said Al Dossari. “Actually, I am not surprised, because one of Crown Prince HRH Muhammad Bin Salman’s 2030 Vision is to promote Saudi motorsports towards new horizons.”

“I have won twice the Hail International Rally, the rally that has revived the Saudi motorsport, so I will participate in the following edition of the Dakar Rally, where I will try to do my best to achieve the best possible result and to raise my nation flag in this great event.”

“I have met many Saudi, Arab and international drivers, and they are all happy to have the Rally in Saudi Arabia, in a new region, new terrains, a new route with different new challenges,” he concluded.
