Codemasters has recently announced new additions to the upcoming F1 2013 game.
The video game will feature Ferrari, Williams and Lotus F1 cars from the 1980s, in addition to drivers such as Nigel Mansell, Mario Andretti, Emerson Fittipaldi, Gerhard Berger and others. Brands Hatch and Circuit of Jerez will also appear in the new game. A new F1 2013 Classic Edition will be available for purchase; with this version, players will have access to cars and drivers from the 1990s, and two new tracks (Imola and Estoril).
F1 2012 will hit the markets near the end of the year, and will be available for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. However, Codemasters did not say whether it’ll introduce the game for newer consoles (Playstation 4 and Xbox One).
Update: We’ve added a second video showing in-game footage from F1 2013, there’s also a new batch of screenshots.
