The Ferrari Enzo successor is inching closer to reality as new reports suggest the car will be packing a V12 engine developing a whopping 800hp.
The mid-engined hyper car will be connected to a Formula 1 style KERS system which gives the car a temporary horsepower boost of 120hp, amounting to a staggering 920hp!
The next generation Enzo will be taking styling cues from Ferrari’s current design philosophy, seen on the 458 Italia, FF and F12 Berlinetta, and might also enjoy similar looks to the P4/5.
According to rumors, the new Ferrari will be dubbed the F70, continuing from past F50 and F40 namings. The F70’s performance and top speed are said to be rivaling the legendary Bugatti Veyron.
2012 is surely the year of supercars as McLaren is also developing its F1 successor, codenamed the P12, while Porsche has the 918 Spyder in the pipeline.
