On Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014, the Official Ferrari Owners’ Club (FOC) Lebanon held their first elections nominating the Board of Administration (BOA) at the FOC office premises in Ashrafieh. Since the clubs formation was announced on June 5th, 2014, the club shaped smoothly over the summer leading up to the elections in which some FOC members actively shared their electoral campaigns and programs, in hope of gaining the most votes to become part of the BOA.
With 54 members in attendance out of the 77 subscribed members, the election process began at 4:00pm and lasted till 5:00pm in which members entered a secluded area to vote on list of delegates following the communication of rules and regulations set prior to voting time.
The results were as follows:
Daniel Boghossian – 37 votes
Georges Hayek – 31 votes
Antoine Abdel Hak – 28 votes
Richard Jbeily – 19 votes
Naji Chahine – 13 votes
Alex Tchaprazian – 04 votes
Once the voting was final and the count was announced, the 3 winning candidates of Board of Administration of the Ferrari Owners’ Club Lebanon were: Daniel Boghossian, Georges Hayek, Antoine Abdel Hak and the forth candidate was appointed to be: Naji Chahine.
Thereafter, the Board selected the following:
Daniel Boghossian as President of the BOA
Georges Hayek as Vice President of the BOA
Antoine Abdel Hak as the Secretary of the BOA
Naji Chahine as the Treasurer of the BOA
Scuderia Lebanon s.a.l. represented by Mr. Hassan Haidar
