February 17, 2015 – Scuderia Ferrari has outlined its vision of the Formula 1 world championship’s future by making public its idea of what a grand prix car might look like in the not-too-distant future.
The computer-generated images, uploaded to a bespoke ‘F1 Concept’ section of the official Ferrari website, show a futuristic Formula 1 car with a double-decker front wing, a driver helmet integrated with the bodywork, and a sculpted rear wing curling around wide tyres on low-profile wheel rims.
The new images come ahead of a meeting of the F1 commission in Geneva on Tuesday, in which future rules are set to be discussed.
