September 8, 2016 – It’s no longer a secret that Toyota has been working on a new-generation Supra in collaboration with BMW, and today we bring you the first set of spy shots of the Japanese car.

The sports car was captured wearing heavy camouflage while testing in Germany, so it’s hard to figure out the design details. However, the images do give us a pretty good look at the coupe’s overall shape.
Toyota hasn’t revealed anything about what’s powering the car, but rumors suggest that it’s a six-cylinder engine from BMW or a hybrid system featuring a turbocharged four-cylinder BMW engine and two electric motors.
The upcoming Supra will share a lot of components with BMW’s Z5, which explains the BMW-adopted interior in the spy shots.
