March 6, 2015 – A Ford Escort Mexico worth 180,000 US dollars was recently stolen from a classic car dealership in Surrey, England.
The Escort Mexico is a special edition road version of the Escort rally car that won the 1970 London to Mexico World Cup Rally, which is considered the Escort’s greatest victory by many.
CCTV footage released by Police shows the glass frontage of the car dealership being smashed by a Land Rover. The classic Ford was then attached and dragged away in no more than 50 seconds.
