October 20, 2015 – A dyno run is quite a smooth and straightforward procedure, with little room for things to go wrong, but when your tyres are at the end of their life cycle, bad things are bound to happen.
A Ford Mustang owner recently survived a scary 240km/h blowout when his car’s rear left tyre gave up on the dyno, leaving his car with no rear bumper and minor damages. Luckily, he wasn’t driving on the highway when that happened, and no one was injured.
